Overview
KnowYourPension.ca is a content-only education website. We do not sell products, collect registrations, or ask visitors for personal information. This policy explains what limited data is collected through standard analytics and advertising tools, and how it is used.
Information we collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information submitted by visitors, because we have no forms or registration systems on this site.
The following data is collected automatically through third-party tools:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymised traffic data including pages visited, approximate geographic region, device type, and session duration. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. This data helps us understand which articles are useful and how the site is used in aggregate.
- Google AdSense — once activated, Google will use cookies to serve contextual advertisements. Google may collect information about your browsing behaviour to personalise ads. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare — our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes request metadata (including IP addresses) to serve pages and provide security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These are third-party cookies used for analytics and advertising purposes. We do not set first-party cookies ourselves.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can manage your ad personalisation preferences at adssettings.google.com.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.
Your rights
